Donor Support

Foundations

SCID receives support through foundation grants for academic research and fellowships. Foundations also support SCID programs, conferences and seminars, speakers, and publications.

Over the years, SCID has received funding from a variety of noteworthy foundations. Through their funding, SCID has been able to pursue research that has had a direct impact on economic policy in developing countries.

Details on how to support SCID activities can be obtained from Jane Bessin, Director of Development (650-724-6329), or Megan Mills, Development Associate (650-736-2988).

Corporations

Private corporations sponsor both specific and general areas of research at SCID and often take on a supporting role in conferences and workshops. They may be active participants in any number of SCID meetings. Corporate Associates may send up to four designated employees to participate in SCID and SIEPR events. Corporate Associates are invited to small dinners and breakfast discussions with select speakers. In addition, Corporate Associates receive the SIEPR newsletters, monthly policy briefs and research reports published throughout the year.

A three-year minimum contribution of support is requested from a corporation to become a Corporate Associate. Our ability to fund long-term programs is based on sustained contributions of our donors, especially our corporate partners.
