SCID is pleased to announce that two Stanford economics PhD students have been selected to receive Ronald McKinnon Memorial Fellowships.

The fellowship honors Professor Ronald I. McKinnon’s memory by funding outstanding undergraduate and graduate research in the areas of international economics, international finance, and economic development.

The selection committee received a number of impressive proposals and is happy to announce the 2017 fellowship recipients:

  • Emanuele Colonnelli - Is Corruption Harmful to Firms?
  • Joshua Kim Saliency Effects and Currency Choice: Evidence from Household Savings in Armenia
